RBG Project Wins IStructE Structural Award
MeyGen Tidal Turbine, located off the north coast of Scotland, recently won the ‘Structures in Extreme Conditions’ category of the IStructE Structural Awards. SMEC’s sister company, Robert Bird Group, designed the Turbine Support Structures for the first stage of the planned 398MW MeyGen tidal turbine farm.
