Against a number of strong contenders, SMEC South Africa won the prestigious Infrastructure Development award at the 15th annual National Business Awards.
Introduced in 2002, these awards recognise the success, innovation and ethics of South African companies and organisations across all industry sectors. SMEC South Africa’s win resulted from a unanimous verdict among the judges.
Said SMEC SA CEO Kostas Rontiris, “We were extremely proud to come away with the trophy, especially given the calibre of the organisations we were up against. I would like to thank the judges for recognising our hard work – and our culture of teamwork. This accolade belongs to everyone at SMEC South Africa and provides a motivational boost to our efforts. Respected recognition platforms like the National Business Awards have been shown to enhance brand reputation – and we appreciate the exposure this accolade will generate around our services.”
